This Quattro Formaggi pizza is a rich and cheesy delight, combining four delicious kinds of cheese for a flavour-packed meal. Perfect for a cozy night in or to impress your guests, this pizza is easy to make and absolutely satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough (10-12 inch size)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic oil
  • 1/2 small red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces saga blue cheese, cubed
  • 2 ounces gruyere cheese, grated
  • 2 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • Black pepper, to taste



Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) to get it nice and hot for baking.
  2. Prepare the Dough:

    • Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about 10-12 inches in diameter.
    • Place the dough on a lightly greased baking sheet or a seasoned pizza stone.
    • Pinch up the edges of the dough slightly to create a thin rim around the pizza.
  3. Add the Toppings:

    • Brush the dough with garlic oil to give it a flavorful base.
    • Spread the thinly sliced red onion evenly over the dough.
    • Scatter the cubed Saga blue cheese and mozzarella across the pizza.
    • In a small bowl, mix the grated gruyere, parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh thyme, then sprinkle this mixture over the pizza.
    • Finish with a grind of black pepper over the entire pizza.
  4. Bake:

    • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the crust is crisp and golden, and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  5. Serve:

    • Take the pizza out of the oven, slice it up, and serve immediately while it's hot and gooey.
