- 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tbsp Sake or Water
- 1 tbsp Maesilaek (Korean green plum extract) – you can swap this with honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Follow the package instructions to cook your pasta. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp: Toss the shrimp with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
Stir-Fry: Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced serrano peppers, cooking until fragrant.
Add Shrimp: Toss the shrimp into the pan and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
Flavor It Up: Stir in the fish sauce, soy sauce, and gochugaru. Add a splash of sake or water to deglaze the pan.
